The Oscar winning star, Sam Smith has released a Christmas song that was written and released by Labrinth. The festive gift album is ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’. Written and produced by Labrinth, it’s the second time Smith has produced a perfect work with the ‘Earthquake’ hitmaker, who produced the title track for their new album ‘Love Goes’.
Smith speaks of how he has been inspired this year to have an earlier gift to his fans by releasing a Christmas love song. On the song Smith sings out,” When you sail on your journey and happiness is far way/love will guide you till the morning, lead your heart down to the bay. Don’t resist the rain and the storm, I’ll never leave you lost in the sea.”
After an incredible release, the duo faced the ridicules after they come out as non-binary. The celebrated artist changed out their pronouns from their to they or them in September, 2019, some six months after speaking out to the public.
Meanwhile, Mariah Carey has announced plans for a new Christmas album and TV special next month. This is however not new but we celebrate the superstar for always presenting us with gorgeous presentations every Christmas period. The show which will be aired on AppleTV on December 4, will include musical performances and guests appearances from Ariana Grande, Jeniffer Hudson and Snoop Dog. This is something legit waiting to be unleashed on that very important day.
