The battle between R&B songstresses Ashanti and Keyshia Cole has been postponed following claims of Ashanti testing positive. Ashanti disclosed her covid 19 status a few hours before the commencement of the battle. The pair were due to go head-to-head last night (December 12) as part and parcel of the popular virtual entertainment series created by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland.
This was the most anticipated clash following the recent “Icy” battle between Gucci Mane and Jeezy, which became the highest viewed Verzuz of all time with over 9.1 million viewers tuning in. A clash of rappers in deed. It such a disappointment but quick recoveries to Ashanti as we would wish to see the girls facing each other.
The officials have confirmed that the due battle has been postponed to January next year.
